Student Ministry
At Parkview Christian Church, we believe there is no greater responsibility than nurturing the hearts and minds of the next
generation. When Jesus instructed Peter to care for His people, He began with a powerful command: “Feed my lambs.” This reminds us
that ministry to children and youth is a sacred calling.
Our goal is to provide a safe, engaging, and spiritually enriching environment where young people can begin and grow in their
relationship with Christ. Through meaningful fellowship, we encourage them to explore:
What does God say?
What does it mean to me?
How can I apply it to my life?
We are committed to offering a well-rounded ministry experience that includes Biblical instruction, scripture memorization, worship,
music, and fun in a Christ-centered environment. Our desire is to help each child and teen grow in faith, character, and community.
The Sunday Morning Experience
On Sunday mornings, we begin the way families have gathered for generations — together.
Our children and teens don’t start somewhere else in the building. They start in worship.
They sing beside their parents. They hear Scripture read aloud. They pray with the church.
They learn that they are not the future church — they are part of the church right now.
And then we come to the Table.
After we share in the Lord’s Supper as one body, our students are released for what we call After the Table — a time intentionally
designed for their growth, understanding, and discipleship.
After the Table: Students (6th–12th Grade)
Immediately following communion, our teens head to a focused and intentional environment created just for them.
Three weeks out of each month are devoted to walking through the Gospel of Gospel of Matthew. Not just reading it — but learning
what it truly means to follow Jesus in everyday life. We ask real questions. We wrestle with real application. We train students to
think biblically, not just react culturally.
During the remaining week of the month, we shift gears with our “Loaded Bible” experience — an interactive, discussion-driven time
where students tackle real struggles, honest doubts, and everyday challenges through the lens of Scripture.
This isn’t just another class.
It’s about building strong foundations.
It’s about learning to think deeply and faithfully.
It’s about becoming disciples — not just attenders.
After the Table: Children (Ages 5–12)
Our children are also dismissed after communion for an engaging, age-appropriate time of learning and discovery.
We want our kids to see that the Bible isn’t a collection of random stories — it is one unified story: God’s story. From the
beginning of creation to today, Scripture reveals His unfolding plan of redemption.
We use The Biggest Story curriculum, designed to help children connect the dots of Scripture in meaningful and memorable ways.
Through creative storytelling, interactive teaching, and thoughtful conversation, children discover how every story points to Jesus
and how they are part of God’s big story too.
The Huddle: 4th Sunday of every month 5PM to 7PM
Hey students! Life can be loud, fast, and full of questions and you're not meant to go through it alone.
The Huddle is a monthly gathering just for Middle School and High School students (grades 6th through 12th) to connect, have fun, and grow in faith together.
Where? Most nights will be downstairs at the building where our fellowship hall will be transformed into a fun
youth friendly area with an occasional field trip built in.
What to Expect? Fun, games, with dinner provided, followed by real talk discussions with Bible-based answers to real-life issues.
Bring your friends, bring your questions, and bring your appetite
The Huddle is where faith, fun, and friendship come together.
