Fellowship at Parkview Christian Church

Fellowship is a vital part of life at Parkview Christian Church. Each month, we set aside special events dedicated to building relationships and growing together as a family in Christ.

Sometimes these gatherings are simple fellowship meals where we share food and conversation. Other times, we enjoy Family Fun Events—group outings and road trips designed for connection and joyful experiences.

Together, these moments create the warm, supportive family environment that makes Parkview a welcoming place for all

Faith and Fellowship Groups

At Parkview Christian Church, we believe that spiritual growth happens best in community. Our Faith and Fellowship Groups are small, intentional gatherings where people come together to grow in faith, build relationships, and support one another in everyday life. These groups take on a variety of forms to meet the diverse needs of our church family:

Bible Study Groups – Centered around God’s Word, these groups dive into Scripture to discover truth, ask questions, and apply biblical principles to daily life.

Life Sharing Groups – These gatherings provide a safe space for honest conversations about real-life challenges, spiritual journeys, and personal growth.

Gender-Specific Groups – Men’s and women’s groups offer tailored support and connection in environments where members can grow together with others who understand their unique experiences.

No matter the format, every group is grounded in faith, focused on fellowship, and open to new faces. There’s a place for you to connect, grow, and belong.

Prayer at Parkview Christian Church

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do at Parkview Christian Church. At the main entrance of our building, you'll find our Prayer Well where anyone can submit prayer requests or share praises that are impacting their life.

Every Sunday at 9:00 AM, a dedicated group gathers in the worship area to lift up our church family in prayer, seeking God’s guidance, healing, and blessings for one another.

Our worship service begins with a time of prayer, where requests are shared with the congregation. For those who prefer a more personal approach, we also provide a quiet space for silent, individual prayer.

Prayer Connection Cards, included in our weekly bulletin, they can be torn out and used to submit prayer requests at the Prayer Well. Public requests will be added to our church-wide prayer list, while confidential ones are shared privately with our elders.

Each year, we also set aside a special Day of Prayer, inviting individuals to spend a focused hour at the church in intentional prayer for our community, our world, and personal needs.

Outreach is Simply Sharing God with Others

The church can mean many things to many people. However, to Jesus, the church had one clear mission:

Matthew 28:18–20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

At Parkview Christian Church, these words form the foundation of our commitment to outreach. The first part of our mission statement is: "Meet people where they are in life."

To live this out, we actively participate in community-organized events and also host our own. Our goal is simple but powerful: to connect with people—and in doing so, to bring Jesus into their lives.

The Blessings Box

The Parkview Christian Church Blessings Box is located near our upper parking lot, facing Arlington Street. It is stocked with non-perishable food items that are free for anyone in need.

Our hope is to serve and support those in our community who may be struggling. There are no requirements to take from the box—it is open to all. The box is not monitored, except when we restock it.

Many have asked how they can help with this ministry. If God is leading you to contribute, we welcome your support. You are invited to leave donations directly in the box. We kindly ask that all items be:

    Non-perishable

    Sealed and unopened

    Not expired

During the winter months, please avoid donating items in plastic or glass containers, as they may break in freezing temperatures.

Thank you for being part of this simple yet meaningful ministry to love and serve our neighbors

Student Ministries

At Parkview Christian Church, we believe there is no greater responsibility than nurturing the hearts and minds of the next generation. When Jesus instructed Peter to care for His people, He began with a powerful command: “Feed my lambs.” This reminds us that ministry to children and youth is a sacred calling.

Our goal is to provide a safe, engaging, and spiritually enriching environment where young people can begin and grow in their relationship with Christ. Through meaningful discipleship, we encourage them to explore:

    What does God say?
What does it mean to me?
How can I apply it to my life?

We are committed to offering a well-rounded ministry experience that includes Biblical instruction, scripture memorization, worship, music, and fun in a Christ-centered environment. Our desire is to help each child and teen grow in faith, character, and community.

The Sunday Morning Experience (After the Table)

On Sunday mornings, we begin the way families have gathered for generations — together.

Our children and teens don’t start somewhere else in the building. They start in worship. They sing beside their parents. They hear Scripture read aloud. They pray with the church. They learn that they are not the future church — they are part of the church right now.

And then we come to the Table.

After we share in the Lord’s Supper as one body, our students are released for what we call "After the Table."

After the Table: Students (6th–12th Grade)

Immediately following communion, our teens head to a focused and intentional environment created just for them.

Three weeks out of each month are devoted to walking through the Gospel of Gospel of Matthew. Not just reading it — but learning what it truly means to follow Jesus in everyday life. We ask real questions. We wrestle with real application. We train students to think biblically, not just react culturally.

During the remaining week of the month, we shift gears with our “Loaded Bible” experience — an interactive, discussion-driven time where students tackle real struggles, honest doubts, and everyday challenges through the lens of Scripture.

This isn’t just another class.
It’s about building strong foundations.
It’s about learning to think deeply and faithfully.
It’s about becoming disciples — not just attenders.

After the Table: Children (Ages 6–12)

Our children are also dismissed after communion for an engaging, age-appropriate time of learning and discovery.

We want our kids to see that the Bible isn’t a collection of random stories — it is one unified story: God’s story. From the beginning of creation to today, Scripture reveals His unfolding plan of redemption.

We use The Biggest Story curriculum, designed to help children connect the dots of Scripture in meaningful and memorable ways. Through creative storytelling, interactive teaching, and thoughtful conversation, children discover how every story points to Jesus — and how they are part of God’s big story too.

From the youngest child to the graduating senior, Sunday mornings follow a shared rhythm:

We worship together.
We gather at the Table together.
Then we grow together — in ways designed specifically for each stage of life.

Because discipleship doesn’t happen by accident.
It happens on purpose — After the Table.
