Our Vision
Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.

Our Leadership
Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
I Peter 5:2-3 (NIV)

Our Beliefs
And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.

Our Vision is to be a body of believers with a passion for God and compassion for people: committed to knowing
Christ, growing in Christ, serving Christ, and sharing Christ.
Our Purpose
is to give glory to God by meeting people where they are, sharing Jesus with them in a meaningful way, and encouraging them to live in a growing relationship with Him.
A Deeper Relationship with God (Luke 5:1-11)
For many people, experiencing a deep relationship with God can feel difficult—maybe even impossible. But it doesn’t have to be complicated. Just look at Peter’s story in Luke 5:1–11.
Peter started his day by the lake, cleaning his nets. He wasn’t searching for anything spiritual; he was simply going about his daily routine, part of the community by the shore. But then Jesus entered the scene. As the crowd gathered to hear Him teach, Jesus noticed Peter’s boat. He stepped into Peter’s life—literally—and asked him to push out a bit from the shore.
At that moment, Peter moved from being just part of the community to being part of the crowd—listening to Jesus speak. When Jesus finished teaching, He turned to Peter again and asked him to go deeper: “Put out into the deep water and let down the nets for a catch.” As Peter obeyed, he came to realize who Jesus truly was. He went from being part of the crowd to making a personal connection.
As Peter wrestled with this life-changing realization, Jesus reassured him: he had the skills and heart to be part of something bigger. But to use those gifts, Peter had to make a choice—to commit his life and follow.
The truth is, everyone is somewhere in this story. And wherever you are—that’s okay. At Parkview, we’re here to walk with you as you seek a deeper relationship with God, one step at a time, and at a pace that feels right for you.

Here is a trustworthy saying: If anyone sets his heart on being an overseer,
he desires a noble task. Now the overseer must be above reproach, the
husband of but one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable,
hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but
gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own
family well and see that his children obey him with proper respect.
(If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take
care of God’s church?) He must not be a recent convert, or he may become
conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. He must also
have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into
disgrace and into the devil’s trap.
1 Timothy 3:1-7

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the
same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
